For those who might be interested, Larry Jeram-Croft will be giving a talk this coming Thursday as a preview to his upcoming book on the operation history of the Lynx in the Royal Navy.

He will be concentrating mainly on the Lynx in the Falklands, for those who don't know Larry was the pilot of the Lynx on Andromeda, and so will be speaking from first hand experience. For the book, Larry also has been gathering anecdotes and tales from the other personnel involved with the Lynx during Op Corporate in addition to his own experiences which includes operating one of the 2 lynxes fitted with the jamming equipment (which was trialed by Andromeda with a live Exocet firing prior to sailing south) as well as witnessing the failed Exocet attack on 30th May.

Anyone interested, the talk is in the FAA museum on Thursday 29th Sept at 7 pm. Entry will be £7, but Larry assures me it will include some "plonk".
