LiveLeak.com - Plane Tumbles After Making Emergency Landing at Breda Airport
Extraordinary footage as plane bounces down the runway toward the cameraman:
Reports state it was a turn back after takeoff due to an engine problem.
Note wind sock and direction of the dust cloud.

Would have walked away from that - a bit a T Cut and elbow grease and no harm done

No flaps and tailwind - not a good combination, of course. Glad nobody got hurt.

It's hard to decipher the markings (on the ground not on the aircraft), and it's difficult to see what's really going on, but looking at the airport map I would guess that the landing was at the far end of 07. I see what looks like displaced threshold markings, runway end markings and a yellow taxiway centreline ... and a sign for Tango 1. Also buildings. I'm just confused by the road in the background, bit it must be the service road from A58/E312 to Rucphenseweg.

Just difficult to figure out with the foreshortened perspective. They did a good job though.

@Sue VThey did a good job though.

One presumes a bad day would look rather messy then...?

I think the camerman's comments summed it up rather well. The other little snippet was the wind againdt the camera's mike. It was not calm that day. If nothing else the video demonstrates that if you fly a single you should be able to pull a glide approach out of the hat whenever you need to. Maybe this one will be two bottles of T-cut.

Correct, the airport buildings shown in the distance are at the Northern side of the airfield. They landed heading 070 and ran off the end, leaving the aircraft between the potatos. Wind was from 200-210 for most of the day with a maximum of 10 knots. Anyway, they walked away from it which is the important bit.
