I was out working under direction of Mrs M in the garden on Sunday when a Mitchell went past quite low tracking East then banked to a more SE course over or near Huddersfield. As we live at 1100ft near some radio mast at Pole Moor we are quite used to seeing BBMF and Red Arrows at this time of the year from northern air shows heading back to Lincolnshire. I just wondered why the Easterly track and the turn, and was the Mitchell routed back direct to the Netherlands from Southport air show or was she stopping in UK. Great sounding A/C and looked very good as we could see her for a good few minutes because of the unusual course and our own elevation.

Any info appreciated from those in the know
Cheers
Mr Mac
