BA Airbus Pilots

Do BA pilots fly the 318/319/320/321 or does each pilot stick to a specific variant I.e 319 or 318?

They fly from a base, but they can all fly each variant.

LL pilots fly 19/20/21
KK pilots 19/20
LC pilots the 18

I've just had a friend swap from being Heathrow based to city

City pilots also fly the 19/20 and 21 at LHR from time to time so fly all 4 variants.

I thought the LCY A318 was operated by LGW crew.

LGW cabin crew, the pilots are officially LHR based and ground transport is provided to LCY although a lot make their own way. They fly a mixture of LCY and LHR short haul trips.

While any pilot can fly the A318 (it's all one certification), only a small number of pilots are certified to operate out of London City.
