Does anyone have the figures for the SAR helicopter contracts? Is there a current figure that Bristow, for example, is paid to operate one S61 for a year?

I would imagine it must be in public records somewhere . From the article it would appear the helicopters are owned by the Crown and Bristow presumably provide crews and servicing.

No, Bristow definitely own the helicopters and they are on the G- civil register.

Hey guys,

Give ol' Keith Chanter a buzz on the talking bone....he will be glad to share the info with you....including his pilot costs figures included in the contract. If you could believe anything he has to say after the Pay Negotiations?

On a slightly different note, can anyone shed any light on where I may find the information regarding dispensations & exemptions whilst operating on SAR taskings in the UK?:)
