Then this beaut and her bottom feeding husband come along.

Mother jailed for faking children's illness in benefits scam - BBC News (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-37081642)

She belongs in the euthanasia thread.

This feels like an every day occurrence on some social media platforms.

The internet and some of the popular interactive websites have revealed new and hitherto unsuspected [by anyhow] depths of depravity and stupidity.

@finfly: Robert A. Heinlein has a quotable quote, along the lines of: "There are only two universal constants -- the hydrogen atom, and stupidity."

Not keen on stupidity, Heinlein - he has more than one thing to say about it, the one I remember best being about it being a capital offence.

Oh look, someone has made a collection of them:

Thank for that link. Not only for Heinlein's quotes but it enabled me to find a list of quotes from Mark Twain. Classic :ok:

Mark Twain bears listening to....as he was well ahead of his Time!:ok:

I particularly like his views on Religion.

Hal Holbrook did a Stage Play about Mark Twain that is a "Must See!". (Youtube has it. )

Will Rogers is another that very much enjoy.!

His views on Politics is as timely today as it was in the late 1930's.

A story has emerged of a 7 year old boy being found by police in a street in Ohio offering to sell his teddybear in return for food, alleging that he hadn't eaten 'for days'.

From here the story becomes unclear with the mother disputing the child's account.

The tabloids aren't helping as they are sensationalising what might well be a tragic story.
