Hi All,

I'm just looking for some advice on Tayside Aviation. I am seriously looking into this school to begin my modular route to the right hand seat.

Has anyone had any experience with then?

Also can anyone recommend any decent schools in Scotland for training?

Thanks,

Fraser

They appear to have a partnership with Logan Air, that would be an interesting start to your career.

And they are your local school!

You don't have much choice, really, but fortunately you have a good one on your doorstep.

They're good. Dundee is a great training airfield, (and Scotland's just a great place to fly overall). The aircraft are well maintained. The instructors all have to do the military CFS assessments which, while they're pitched at a pretty basic VFR level, the RAF examiners are very demanding and they are very very fussy in how they want things done. In any case it means your instructor is probably not going to be some Florida cowboy.
