Stay well away from anything 'via' that outfit.

LinkedIn purpose is to network, make contacts. I seriously doubt someone is going to offer you a job on the back of emails and profiles. You need to meet them in person, go through the relevant paperwork, checks etc..

I probably should have been more specific but I meant getting an interview for a job.

I am asking because in my field of work it is common to get offers through LinkedIn.
