Dear All,

August is upon us. The name "August" is, of course, derived from "Agusta", the Roman god of rotary flight.

It is therefore fitting that this month we feature a dramatic picture of one of Agusta's creations surveilling its domain from on high. In this image kindly supplied by Steve an AW109S Grand is pictured taking in the view from 8,800' AMSL at a location East of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, USA.

Jackson Hole was first visited in the early 1800's by John Colter, a returning member of the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery expedition, who was hunting for beaver. Over 200 years later Jackson Hole is a thriving winter destination for young snowboarders with similar interests.
