I have read all previous posts on this subject which now seem to be several year's old, and would like to know if anyone out there has any recent experience or knowledge of a good MCC/JOC course in Europe.
I would prefer a 737 full motion sim, but having read many comments over the past couple of days, it seems that opinions are mixed on whether this extra expense is worthwhile.
Examples of courses I have seen are Aeros and Simtech in Dublin, Cockpit4u and Sim4u in Berlin, QualityFly in Madrid, Flying Time Aviation, CRM Aviation Europe, Virtual Aviation, etc etc.
I will finish my IR in October and intend to enroll for the above course asap so would greatly appreciate anything that anyone can share. Thx

You need to speak to those on your short list. Try those closer to home first.

Full motion is simply not necessary for MCC/JOC course. Don't confuse it with a type rating course.
Your course is to introduce you to multi crew operations, and to give you a "pointer" towards the type course. It bridges the gap between flying light aircraft, and 70+T ac.

It will also demonstrate your potential learning curve, and indicate whether you are suitable for airline flying.

As Parfkell said we cannot confuse an MCC/JOC with a TR. For me paying more for a full motion doesn't worth it, you will loose the hand of flying that in 1-2 months. Even during your TR you won't fly every session with the full motion system ON.

I can talk about Simtech, apart from the high level of his instructors, you will practice many different situations, engine failures, fires, diversions, circlings to land... basically every session is Line Oriented. I think they have created a good course deeper than a basic MCC/JOC and not so technical, complicated as a TR.
