My questions looks simple, but maybe is not!

What is the pass mark for ATPL(A) Exams!? 75%
How is this score calculated? Does all questions have the same points or is there a difference according to the difficulty level?

I make this question, because a friend of my got 74% and fail, when he got 24 right answers out of 32! In my math: 24/32=0,75 or 75%!

Is there anyone that can tell me, what regulation or directive is applied to the ATPL(A) exams scores.

Thank you in advance for your time and help.

Some of them do have different scores, depending on whether you have to do a calculation or look something up, or both. What subject was it?

typically before you begin your exam it tells you on the screen what's the maximum points you can get for that exam and underneath each question it shows how much points you are awarded for that particular question.

for example in Gen nav there are 60 questions but the maximum point count you can get is 78 (or thereabouts). Most questions are worth 1 point, some are 2, and you might get one or two 3 point questions.

Different subjects have it differently, for example Instruments had 60 questions with 60 point maximum, meaning each question was worth 1 point
