Interesting to see it working. The question is will they replace the pitot tubes completely or will there be a mix of pitot tubes and LASSIs installed?

Since this measures TAS it will also need an air density source to be able to derive an airspeed useful for aviation. That doesn't necessarily make it less reliable than a conventional system that also requires two inputs, static and dynamic pressures.
