Hi Alex,

Welcome to PPRuNe. I can't help you with your question, but a piece of advice re terminology.

In most parts of the world, unlike the US, CFI means Chief Flying Instructor, so it would be better to ask about flight/flying instructor jobs.

Good luck with your search.

Yes go to Flybest-Indonesia. They need lots of instructors.
Good luck. They are using very old airplanes, the maintenance is bad, they doesn't care about safety issues, they are using mogas not accordance with the CASR sub part 43.13. But who cares!!!

The instructor Hierarchy in India does like

AFI Asst. Flight Instructor - Can Instruct for single engine PPL/CPL and Instrument Flying.

FI Flight Instructor - All privileges of AFI + instruct on multi-engine + Night Flying and can act as Examiner for Navigational Check-rides only.

Dy. CFI - All privileges of FI and Examiner for single/multi engine. Can take all check rides, except IR rating check. Additionally, may also be granted Instrument Rating Examiner rating on discretion of DGCA. May be the head of an FTO for a maximum of 6 months (In case a CFI leaves and a new CFI is still to join)

Chief Flight Instructor - All privileges of Dy. CFI, is the head of any FTO. The big-boss.

Some larger FTOs need to have two CFIs (bcause of excessive flying), in that case one CFI is designated as CI- Chief Instructor; but only 2-3 clubs in India have a fleet like that.

Is not a secret that Flybest is breaking aeronautical laws and labor law all the time.

The best is to see his cadets making videos on his first solo flight and uploading that on the net. Poor rich guys.

Stonishing!!! that is how I feel after reading the program in the web page.

So full of lies!!Seems a desperate action to cheat new students.

I been there more than one year just for the PPL no for CPL like the adv. says

Job in AAI next year?

No body self-sponsored-student are in AAI, despite promises, pre-contracts ....

By the way, AAI is not very stable, they are sending pilots to KL, so, I really doubt to see any flybest- student-pilot in AAI in a near future.:\

Anyone know any other good schools throughout South East Asia that are known to hire foreigners? Doesn't really matter where to me. Kind of hard to find hiring requirements. I got about 1200 TT and just recently got my Instructor's Rating.
