View Full Version : OXFORD CBT GOOD ENOUGH?

Hi all,

I'm in a mad rush to complete all 14 papers here in my country. As of date, I have completed 5 and have approximately another 2 months to finish up the balance.

I am using Oxford Aviation Academy's materials. It seems that the CBT is merely a read out of the text books. And if that is the case, I wonder if just the CBT alone will suffice to pass the exams. The books are hugely thick and I am not sure if I have sufficient time to sit through page by page and then do practice questions.

Here are the papers I have left:

1) Mass and Balance: Exam 20th July
2) Performance: Exam 27th July
3) Gen. Nav: Exam 17th July
4) Radio Nav: Exam 18th July
5) Met
6) POF
7) AGK Systems
8) AGK Instrumentation
9) Flight Planning.

I would like to hear opinions from you guys as to whether the Oxford CBT for the above mentioned subjects would suffice.

Regards
Bryan

No. While good, they do not cover everything by a long way.

They are very good, but they are meant to be an aid to studying.
