Hey folks got a question about the G-V
I've never flown or operated one,
Can anyone tell me the minimum n2 to introduce fuel on an apu ground start.
Thanks in advance.

Positive LP.

Thanks for the reply Peter, I'm guessing that lp is low pressure would ther be an n2 value associated with that such as 20 percent?
The engines I am familiar with generally have a min n2 limit.
Thanks again.

The conditions for moving the switch are N2 (of course), positive N1 and oil pressure greater than zero. The FADEC will not allow fuel flow if TGT is greater than 150C, which is relevant on short turn arounds. If you look in te book they will tell you to wait for Maximum N2 for hot and high starts. Then there is the rotor-bow start which is 'nother thing again.

Practically, I don't know anybody who moves the fuel switch before N2 has passed 20%...

Fly me thanks, that helps while the nomenclature is different from what I fly I think I get it you are saying that you look for max n2 but use 20 percent as a min to introduce fuel..
Thanks my friend I owe you a cold one if our paths cross.
