Would hours accumulated in an Evans VP1 or similar craft be counted towards the 150TT
for starting CPL training?

IE: 1 hour in a VP1 is the same as 1 hour in a C152

Thanks in advance.

An hour in a VP1 is as good as an hour in a C150 etc. It's counted the same but of course its at a fraction of the cost. I've done a few hours in a Luton Minor.... bit nippy in an open cockpit at this time of year though!!

I am lead to believe hour building in a VP1 "will put hairs on your chest".

They count just the same but if you're a girl or just don't like a hairy chest - steer clear

Yes, but because it's on a permit you can't fly night or IMC. You'll probably learn far more than you would have in a C150.
