AIRASIA malaysia looking for A-320 Captains and First Officers:

Captains: US$10,000 plus accommodation, lifestyle roster
First Officers: US$5,500 plus accommodation, lifestyle roster

NOT TAX FREE....

Captains: 5,000hrs flying experience with 1,500 P1 with an airline and a min of 500 P1 on type.

First Officers: 1,800hrs experience as a Co-Pilot and either 750hrs P1 on any aircraft, or 3yrs experience as Co-Pilot on aircraft exceeding 20,000kg on scheduled public transport flights

Minimum level 4 English

Let's see, Vietnam offers 12k after tax and commuting, China 16k after tax and commuting, guess 10k before tax and no commuting won't lure too many these days...

1) 6 sector days exist
2) many 4 sector days
3) KL and Johor made it to the top 5 most dangerous cities to visit...let alone live in
4) perpetual widening gap between rich and POOR, you know what causes that....
5) If you accept such wages when everyone is paying heaps more, you are either a MUG or lucky to have a job...and been lucky to get this far

Not a nice working environment either, they may need you but they really don't want you. Upgrade for expat F/O doubtful. Some gorgeous F/As though.

Not surprised to see its a Brookfield Add again. BTW does that mean the DCA dropped the no Foreign FO ruling.

Lived in KL whilst flying out of Subang, absolutely loved it. Believe me, I see more crime in most British cities on a daily basis than I saw during my entire stay in KL. I'd return tomorrow given the chance.

my 9 years in Malaysia KL was the safest, Johor had to take care. agree with your post captbod.
