View Full Version : Sea Monsters rising to reclaim the Seas due to Climate Change?

Enough of the bickering amongst the monsters involved with the referendum, lets get down to more serious matters.

Are the tales told ancient sea folk starting to be realised? Is global warming causing these creatures to rise again, to reclaim the Seas for Mother Nature? Are we ever to be safe on the seas again? As an island can the UK afford to be cut off from the rest of the World by such sea monsters? Should the UK put up monster nets to protect our inshore waters?

A 'sea monster' has been spotted on Google Earth near Antarctica, and it has driven people into a frenzy as they tried to figure out what it is.

Is it a kraken? Or something less terrifying?

Scott Waring of UFO Sighting Daily thinks it could be a sea monster.

“This looks like The Kraken. I used Google ruler and it says this is 30 meters (100 feet) from head to end, but the end looks just like the mid area of a giant squid which means it could be 60+ meters long with tentacles. That sounds like a Kraken to me," he wrote.

I guess one reason I'd do no good in the tabloid media game...
I'm afraid it looks suspiciously like a school of fish. ;)

I've always been intrigued by the theories concerning reincarnation....."more things in heaven and earth" etc.....

Heaven forbid the unlamented deceased has chosen to prove the validity therefore.......:E

Methane gas shows up like that

Could be a less giant creature that has farted.

Sea Monsters rising to reclaim the Seas due to Climate Change?H P Lovecraft would be pissing himself!

On a very similar vein, the BBC radio version of John Wyndham's The Kraken Wakes (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07bzhrd) is worth a listen whilst it's still on the I-player. (Only available until the 26th of June!)

Any creature that can produce a 30m fart is unlikely to be small enough to fit in a fish tank!
