Does anyone have any experience in small airshow souvenir sales? Specifically, the quantities you’d order per say, each 1000 expected patrons?
Polo shirts. Tee shirts. Caps. What else? (in the keep itsimple stakes)
Would you sell to 10% of the crowd? 20% Other?

Appreciate your thoughts:ok:

T Shirts are a dead loss. You have to have so many different sizes and you will end up with lots left over.

Try and be creative with slogans - consider removing dates / years from products, particularly if this is going to be a one-off event.

Does the t-shirt or hat HAVE to have 2016 Cowra airshow on it for example, or just "Cowra airshow, bringing aircraft to the people" or whatever your catchy slogan is.

If the design is good enough, you can sell them on eBay afterwards or a local shop perhaps if you have left overs.

Don't put a year on it. Left overs can be sold next time.

Don't forget to order the caps in sizes "XXXXXXXL" upwards in case there are any commercial pilots in your target sales group...
