I am really interested in starting a career in the aviation industry and becoming a Cabin Crew member for either Qantas or Virgin Australia Airlines. I was wondering if anyone had some useful tips or experiences to help out. Do I require any specific Courses, Certs? Certain/preferable age? How to apply? The process? Thanks :):)

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Senior First Aid with CPR. Can all be done in 3 days. Out of TSV there is an Alliance base so if you're not keen on moving, apply to them. But to open your options completely, be prepared to move anywhere in Aus and you will have plenty of choices!

Good luck!

In addition to above; get LOTS of face to face customer service experience. Bars, hotels, restaurants.
Years ago it was a requirement that you had a min of 2 years face to face customer service. Although airlines don't seem to specify that as much now; I would def say it's still in the background of many recruiters minds and the more you have the better.
