I was wondering about the average hours pilots fly monthly on turboprop aircraft. Maybe also interesting to know how many sectors.

We fly about 50 hrs per month on average (600 per year) (summer avg. 55-60 hours and winter avg. 40-45 hrs) and between 40 and 60 sectors.

I do about the same as you on Fokker 50, although i remember doing 100+ hrs a month. Maximum is up to 6 sectors a day. Normal shift is 4.

AS a Beech 99 pilot in the late 60's and early 70's we flew typical 80-85 hrs/month with 6-8 landings per day. lr.

Up until I moved on about 18 months ago flying at our remote Canadian company averaged:
BE 1900- 60-80hrs/month (10-12 legs/day)
PC 12 about the same
HS 748 110-120 hrs/month (10-12 legs/day)
C208 120-140 hrs/month (10-14 legs/day)

These were averages for the types when I flew each one. Under Canadian rules we flew legally to 150 hrs/month on single engine ops. I once logged 40 cycles/day four days in a row in a C208, and as many as 18 on a 748.
Those were some seriously long hours, but the cash was very good!:D
