Where should a 250 Hour Zero to ATPL Pilot search for a job in the EU?

Hello everyone,

Here comes the most frequently asked question here,

I've got my CPL (A) with my IR/MEP/ATPL Credit.
I've been looking around everywhere but most companies seem to be searching
for experienced pilots, with certainly around 1,000 + Hours on non type and 500 on type.

I've got a British passport and I'm relatively young (20).

Could anyone give me any guidance?

Hi,
To answer your question: you should look anywhere. Your academy should have given you enough guidance on this and yourself should have done enough research about it. If you think avation is KLM, British, Qatar and Emirates you are not in the good way. You will get a better chance to get hired with small charters, small companies, become instructor or something like that, will give you experience and hours, then you will be able to switch to the big ones with enough experience. With 250 hs you don't really get a chance so easy. You should not look only in the EU, specially for a low hour/experience pilot, if you want to be a pilot you need to be aware that you are willing to work anywhere in the world!
You need to keep your head cold now, you need to get an objective. If you want to become an airline pilot you will have to learn to fight for it... Think good what you want, see the ways to get there, see what you can do. But remember something: don't sell yourself to p2f schemes because you will screw up your life and your career, doesn't matter how many guys are going to say you that is Amazing and cool, doesn't matter that you love aviation so much that you would pay to fly an Aircraft. Don't get mad.
I don't want to sound rude, but you have to accept the hard thruth, nowadays it's a difficult market, if you really want it you will succed but you need to be smarter than the Airlines, don't let yourself be dragged down into such bad deals.
The last thing, get yourself some hours (not 10 but like +100) in some multi engine Aircraft, if you make yourself a nice trip of 10 days in Spain or some other place where you can fly safe for cheap do so, that's experience, that's good will, you will be closer to your dream. I don't say that Airlines will directly hire you, but you will have little by little more experience and so more chances, if you ever come into an interview you can use it in your favor.
