I know this is a long shot but it is amazing the knowledge of folks on here.

My uncle was lost on the raid on Manheim June 1943. I have just found out that he won a race at the Isle Of Man TT. I have no idea of the date but guess it would be prior to 1939.

Is there a way to check results from races, say between 1925 to 1939?

His name was Stanley Lawrence Webb.

Thanks in advance.

Try this Race Results - Isle of Man TT Official Website (http://www.iomtt.com/TT-Database/Events/Races.aspx?meet_code=TT30&race_seq=1) although it may take some time as it doesn't appear to have a search function.

I know a Stanley Webb retired from the 1907 single cyclinder TT race. I do not know if this is the same man or what year he may have won. Hope that helps.

VC, might help if you have an approximate age when he died, and where he lived.I have a contact `font of knowledge` on the TT.

Skydiver69. Thanks for link but can't get past 1930!

Wannabeupthere. Thanks but too early for him.

Sycamore. He died 23rd June 1943 on the raid on Mannheim. I don't have his exact date of birth but he was 33 so born in 1910. So I guess he would have been in TT late 1920's early 1930's

Lived in Teddington/Hampton Middlesex.

Thanks for your help.

Try this link instead. Meetings - Isle of Man TT Official Website (http://www.iomtt.com/TT-Database/Events.aspx)

The original one linked to 1930 as that's what I was looking at to see what results I could get and which I cut and pasted into my reply to you. This new link is to the results page for all meeting so if you follow it you can choose the decade then the year that you want.
