DGCA photo/signature upload

Ok guys. I finally got my computer number and immediately followed up with the photo/signature procedure.
So my question is does DGCA email me about rejection or approval? So far I've not received anything, not even acknowledgement of receiving my hard copy. Logging in to udaan doesn't show the pictures I uploaded either. Does that indirectly mean it's rejected? Won't DGCA actually come out and say it's rejected?
Also how long does this process usually take? I really want to give exams on the upcoming session. I've wasted more than enough time on bureaucratic nonsense.

Issue resolved. For anyone interested, process takes about 2-3 days only. In my case since it had been over a week so I took a risk and uploaded same photos again and resent hard copy of application. It was approved in 2 days. I got a approval email as well.

What’s the regulation for the photo ? Any specific rules as mine got declined
