Hi, I am a non-citizen of the US. i hold an FAA private, instrument, multi-engine, commercial and B1900D type. I did TSA clearances before each of these trainings. I have just completed my ATP CTP. Does anyone know if i require TSA clearance before the ATP practical?

i think u ve to but since u already have a finger print in TSA data base, the process will not be as long as the previous clearance. u can get all info u need from

If you're doing a type rating you will need a higher class than you may have had before for instrument/multiengine.

If just in a Cessna, Piper, it's unlikely, but check with the flight school?
