I believe that Air X Charter Ltd will be operating a low cost temporary operation out of MAN and BOD this summer.

Their B737 - 500 has recently undergone a refurbishment to accommodate 120y pax.

I am wondering if anybody has any further insight as to what flights Air X will be operating.

Thanks in advance.

Post on Bournemouth thread suggests that Air X have acquired two A340's ex Sri Lankan, one of which arrived there this week. Wonder if we shall see one of these operating out of Manchester in the future.

"Air X Charter (AXY, Malta) will shortly take delivery of its maiden widebody aircraft, an A340-300, Skyliner Aviation has reported. Formerly in service with SriLankan Airlines (UL, Colombo Int'l), ex-4R-ADF (cn 374) was ferried from Colombo Int'l to Bournemouth for maintenance last week. Once completed, it will then be ferried to the Mediterranean."

Air X is currently in the process of selecting candidates to be based out of Bordeaux. I have tried to locate flying programmes for this base but with no luck. Any info would be kindly appreciated. Thanks :)

All Greece flights via AirX from Bournemouth and Manchester are cancelled for summer 2016 due to low sales - just been confirmed by phone from their GSA.

Flights were due to start in 2 months time on 18 July
