anybody know why BE7114 from Milan to BHX diverted to CVT today?

I don't think it did divert. BHX official arrivals page says it arrived on time. It appears that flightradar24 confuses BHX and CVT. I have seen a number of both arrivals and departures on FR24 which they say are from/to CVT and which have been incorrect.

As well as the spurious "diversion", FR24 also records the next sector for the aircraft in question as being from CVT to an unknown destination (it was actually BE7049 BHX to DUS). :ugh:

It would be great if their algorithms that attempt to work out where a flight is landing/taking off from were accompanied by an injection of common sense. :O

thanks - it even marked it as a diversion!

For everything FR24 is, it's not foolproof, so please don't take what you see on there as gospel.
