Air new zealand reverse auctions on grabaseat

I live in NZ and every Tuesday I go to www.grabaseat.co.nz (http://www.grabaseat.co.nz) and in particular the reverse auctions.


There have been some great auctions over the years, especially Trans Tasman but this year they have dropped Trans Tasman and they are only auctioning Long haul travel.


I found Trans Tasman great for crossing the ditch to visit families, the only catch is that you have to travel on the flights and dates stipulated but it is never a problem.


Does anyone know why they dropped the TT auctions and are they going to be reinstated at all ??


I did contact them but I only got a very vague reply.
