Whilst sympathizing with this guy's problem, which was possibly caused by the subject of his briefing, I wonder if he will be able to maintain his flying status and pay ?

Very glad he was not wearing dark blue uniform !

Air Force Major General FAINTS in the middle of a press briefing about $120bn F-35 fighter program.

Unless thing shaved changed in the last 20 years, since I retired, flight pay - actually "Aviation Incentive Pay" goes away sometime after 20 years service unless you're actually in a flying assignment. It's likely this general officer was not on flying pay.

I fainted during an assembly once when I was 13 years old. Never fainted again.

Michael Stipe (REM fame) can faint on a whim.

The first post was obviously a feint.

We had several cadets faint on parade during initial training. Proves you know how to stand perfectly still.

There's gurning and then there's gurning.

To some folk it comes naturally.

I think I'll use the picture to frighten the grandchildren.

It's very rare you see the glove puppeteer in real life, it only happens in slip ups like this.

what is worrying is that she was the best looking one of the female candidates ...... they always pick the best one for PR purposes, don't they?

That's her 15 minutes of fame, long after we have forgotten old General Wotsit.

I suspect the General has Insulin-dependent Diabetes. The clue is the sugary drink that one of the officers gives him. If you feel the need to mock this disability then I hope you are pleased with yourselves...:=

As a General then there is no need for him to medically retire with Diabetes as he will be likely working in an office environment.

PS. Alternatively, he could be a total wuss (alright, I'll have a word with myself!!!).

I take it that means his future 5 gold stars and eating at MacDonalds is out then..
