Hello

I have 3 weeks of vacation leave to take and am thinking of heading over to Deland Aviation to rent a SEP and do some time building. Wondered if anyone had any thoughts on this place and if they had any feedback?

Also places to visit and hit up in early march from Deland to make it a more enjoyable experience would be much appreciated?

Thanks.

Cedar Key on the west coast of FL is a general aviation favorite.

Jekyll Island, GA is another great spot although in March it may still be too chilly for a day at the beach. But there's some interesting history on that island and you can rent a golf cart to tour the island. Or You could instead go across o the next island to St Simons, GA Where there's plenty to see and quaint restaurants.

Depending how long you want to fly a flight down to the Florida Keys is also enjoyable. Transition through Miami B airspace at 1000' down the beach and then stay low all the way down the keys!

Savannah GA would be a great overnight trip. Get downtown and enjoy the slow southern lifestyle. eat shrimp and grits.
