Hi,

I am trying to make a sort of list of European companies -not manufacturers- providing flight testing as part of their core business.
The list should be useful to support colleagues searching for a change or willing to understand more about different kind of activities across the Old Continent.

The first ones that pop up in my mind are
- Cobham (UK)
- Marshall (UK)
- Fokker (NL)
- Sabena Technics (F)

Any suggestions?

Cheers,
ZN

Google EASA Part 21 Subpart J. There will be a list of all Design Approved Organisations. In the scope column, if they have the authority to approve flight conditions, that is a good indication they carry out flight test as part of their core business.

Ones that I know offhand.

Qinetiq, Cranfield Aerospace, BAeS Military (yes a manufacturer, but they test other stuff too), NLR, DLR.

Plus in the UK there's a couple of organisations setting up to exploit the new E-conditions.

G,

Although BAE is (only) making parts of the aeroplane, there's also a bunch of us in the US sub-contracted to LM with F-35B/C flight testing.

Not sure it's considered core business by the highly paid, but it's certainly 'real work'.
