Hello everyone
This is my first post here in pprune. first of all thank you all of you for your contributions, i believe it has helped me and lot of other novices to gather some datas and act accordingly. i am currently doing my ppl in stapleford besides working full time. just wanted to know that how many years have you guys taken to finish the modular route and how soon after you got an airline job?? please briefly mention the timescale like below if possible:

Training started:
PPL Duration:
ATPL Theory(residential/distance):
CPL hour building how long and where:
Commercial Pilot Licence Course duration:
Instrument Rating Course (CPL Pilot) :
Multi Engine:
Advanced MCC/JOC Combined :
how soon after you got a job:

i know we all are very busy but would really appreciate if you please comment or please just mention how long it took all the way to frozen ATPL and how soon after you got a job, like below:

Based upon my research, if you can generate the funds as fast as you use them and are also working a job it may take you 2-3 years if you keep constant pressure on it.

Having acquired your frozen ATPL, you can expect to get a job within a few years however, it's likely you'll have to relocate and fly something other than big commercial jets for a few years.

Make sure you start networking along your path. What you know is the baseline - it's who you know that gets you places.

Hello!


Im currently working full-time in aviation, going down the modular route!


Heres my plan...


PPL OCT15-JUN16

Taking my exams first before flying. Started them in OCT15 to be finished by APR16. Then doing an intensive 45 hour flying program in 4-5 weeks from 01MAY16.


ATPL EXAMS JUN16-JUN17

Distance learning - Bristol ground school

HOURS BUILDING 31OCT16-26NOV16

Chandler Air Service - Phoenix, AZ - 80-100HRS


CPL/MEP/IR SEP17-NOV17


Either at Bartolini Air in Poland or Diamond Flight Academy in Sweden.


JOC COURSE DEC17

Simtech, Dublin, Ireland


That's plan A anyways....
