Hello, can anyone flying in Saudia Arabia share the ATPL conversion process from a foreign ICAO ATPL to a SAUDIA ATPL ? I was informed by the recruiter it is a stand alone license ? Is it perpetual or does it need to be revalidated every 6/12 months etc via an approved sim/instructor, Or is it a FATA based on your home country license that you must maintain home country validation and sim checks ? Thanks very much for any efforts on my behalf. :)

The rules keep changing, but right now depending on your employer, it's just a case of handing in a copy of your ICAO licence, no exams !

The licence is standalone and stays valid through the normal requirements.

Hey thank you very much. I appreciate your time, they are talking about a base in Hail ? Any information you can share on that area ? They said it will be compound living and cannot initially bring your family. How is Saudi now for expats ? Thanks again for your time :)
