US and International flights, into and out, of east coast airport have been canceled for several days due to a strong winter storm.
Yesterday...flights delayed = 7656, flights canceled = 3688.
Today....flights delayed = 4,487, flights canceled = 5,026.
Airline most canceled flights = American Airlines with 896.
Airport most impacted = JFK with 439 departures and 418 arrivals.
This will take several days to sort out, get passengers rescheduled, and get airplanes moved around. Crew scheduling must be a nightmare!
