Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone here had any free versions of an RPL/BAK textbook or eBook. I've seen some paid versions but it's just currently such a bad situation financially and anything that will lead me to more information about the RPL would be so helpful. Thank you.

I realise these are not free (is anything in aviation?) but you can usually pick up some cheap second hand books at Classifieds | Second Hand Pilot (http://secondhandpilot.com.au)

Free (but not a lot of use in preparing for BAK exams) online:
- CASA Flight Instructor Manual
- USA FAA Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge
- USA FAA Airplane Flying Handbook

For the price of half an hour's hire you could buy these texts from Bob Tait (http://www.bobtait.com.au/).

Do not skimp! Get a good text book and you will be sure of passing first time with a good score with few items in your KDR. Flying is not cheap, do not make it more expensive by trying to cut corners on your knowledge.
