Does anyone know where I can find old photos or footage of the Old Eagle Farm Airport in Brisbane.

Google and other searches come up with zilch.

Also wouldn't mind Essendon back in its heyday Pre Tulla. There's a few on line but not much.

It would probably be worth delving into the farcebook page; "Lost Brisbane". If they don't have what you're looking for, a request there will very likely bear fruit.

Try Peter Dunn's Ozatwar (http://www.ozatwar.com) for a vast amount of photos and info about Eagle Farm during WWII.

Lovely photo OB. Brings back heaps of memories - note the ladies in their beige uniforms about to board via the rear stairs....

As a kid I used to sit in that glassed observation area at the front of the terminal and marvel at the DC-9's and 727's. The jetbast would shake the glass. Fantastic.
