hi !

we are on a longer trip in namibia and botswana in january '16. due to some long scenic flights along the coast we need to refuel north of purros/hoanib towards kunene and also west of etosha.

anyone with some information regarding avgas in:

- opuwo
- ruacana
- okongwati

or a similar airfield nearby would be highly welcomed :)

many thanks and regards from switzerland

There is no AVGAS at Opuwo, Okongwati, or Ruacana. Your best bets are Ondangwa (North of Etosha) or Dorro Nawas. Call Wilderness Air to enquire about fuel at Dorro Nawas on +264 61 255 735. Try Ondangwa on +264 81 129 3014, +264 81 259 4707 . The Tower at Ondangwa is +264 65 703 190, if you struggle with the other numbers.

Enjoy your trip.

Admittedly it's been a few years, but I did fill up with 100LL at Opuwo, must have been 2007. At the time, this was the NW-most fuel stop in Namibia.
