Noticed on their website, they have stopped operating floatplanes out of Strahan.

Such a shame, although the business has been for sale for quite some time.

I didn't know a lot about the business, but I did like the idea that there were still operators such as this around the traps.

If only I had float time......

Monumental logistics
Difficulty getting suitable pilots
Savage bureaucracy
Ever increasing "compliance" burden

Pity because the business is very viable and only needed new blood. Yyre kickers abounded but no takers fo a give away price.

Cost of compliance, and not just with CASA but indeed everything. Why would you do this :ugh: if you had other options in life.
