Hi there,

I'm looking for a place in the US to get current again (Flight Review & Instrument Proficiency Check) haven't been flying for a couple of years and now I need to get back in the "saddle". Generally, location doesn't really matter, besides stable weather conditions (perhaps somebody happens to know a nice place in the Boston/Cape area, but as I said this would be secondary). Looking for a place where this could be done at a reasonable price. Time frame, about a week or so. Advise and feedbacks very much appreciated, thanks!

I did my BFR and IPC in daytona beach area, nice weather, pretty stable and prices were good too. Air America is not a bad option. Boston area might be quite cold during this time of the year.

I once needed the same thing as the OP. I had returned to the US after a couple years in Europe.

I did the training at CRAFT in Charleston, SC. Good hotels near the airport, good seafood, too, used the Redbird simulator for a lot of practice before flying, and added in required elements along the way to do both an IPC and flight review.

PM if you want more info.

Come to Naples, the best little town in Florida, away from the madness of the East Coast. :-)

Thank you all for the feedback, I appreciate it! But Florida is not really an option for me, I'm looking more into the South-Western part of the Sates.

and here goes kimsmith again listing schools that are associated with Charter College of Aviation. I wonder what your agenda or affiliation with the school is.

All of the schools you listed in Florida are associated with Charter College. Actually every single flight school you listed in other posts is associated with Charter College.............

If you are still looking for West coast, I am teaching on the side in a school in Monterey, doing some Flight Reviews and IPCs today. EASA/FAA qualified.
