It has always been my understanding that a pilot has 36 months to the end of the month of his last written exam to get his CPL and IR issued.
I am now advised by my CAA Licensing Inspector that the validity only goes to 36 months after the actual date of the last written exam, not the end of the month (ref FCL.025).
Anyone know different?
