What are these new call signs? Heard a 785A the other day. Today CPA 901A is scheduled out at 1155Z. No crew list available but the captain's name is a valid CX one BUT the registration shows B-A17, a 777ER apparently.

Followed an Air Hong Kong flight takeoff using a Cathay callsign recently. Don't recall the number though.

CXA901 is a sim code!

But what has happened to our daily CX901 real flight? More flights being trimmed due lack of crew?

Doha has just been canned.. next year a heap of airbus flights have been canned...the joke is that they are giving them to the 777 who has even less crews!:D:E

Don't listen to what they say, look at the facts around you. Cancelled flights, cancelled destinations, crew swapped at dispatch, `3 captains/1fo on a flight to london, desperate pleas to "not comment" about the pending Paris trail (which they are now desperately attempting to head off with a grovelling appeal to the French courts...hahaha). I could list another 10 pages worth of evidence as to how badly the wheels are coming off. Stick to CC in all its aspects. Hold your colleagues accountable (and give them encouragement, as some are in need of support). This company's history of attacking their own employees is coming home to roost. They are in full fledged panic on the 9th floor, and we should all resolve to see them brought down. I am already stocking up on the popcorn...

A-extra flight using the normal flight number ( 785A and 785 both operating ) not rostered.
D-delayed flight not rostered eg 784D volcanic ash 2 days late.

They can also roster an extra flight with a 2 in front, eg 2580 CTS pattern
