Perhaps a medical condition or under the influence of drugs ? Unusual thing to happen. Might they have been a mule of some kind and the condoms burst ? Not nice for anyone, especially stuck in an aluminium tube 10miles above the earth.

So what is the story here. One pax with canine behavioural syndrome bites the hand of another, shortly thereafter snuffs it and another pax is then found carrying, seems to be the top and bottom of it all. Not exactly headline news I would have thought.

Unless

It is some kind of a harbinger of things to come .... teg checks by security and all gnashers to be carried in the hold.

The post mortem was conducted at Cork University Hospital by Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margot Bolster.

It was completed this evening.

During the examination a number of packages were recovered from the man's body.

RTÉ News understands that at least one of them was ruptured.

The packages have been sent for forensic analysis.

I assume these condoms or whatever they ingest expand with altitude thus weakening them ?

Given the many demonstrations of the 'stretchiness' of condoms, it seems likely that the contents 'ate' their way out, or, his stomach acid ate inwards. It is possible they don't consider the quality of condoms purchased, or, take strong action to neutralise the natural acids of the stomach.
