Hotel near Gatwick for ATPL Exams

Hello, can anyone recommend a decent hotel near the UK office at Gatwick? Preferably one that is within walking distance or has easy/cheap transportation.

The Ibis Crawley, 20 min walk or a bus ride. It will do a crew rate if you are an airline employee. Simple and clean. Premier Inn close by but generally a bit more expensive.

I used the Premier Inn beside the Parsons Pig pub. It may not have been the cheapest but it certainly wasn't the most expensive, and I was able to get a good breakfast, lunch and dinner at the pub. Taxi cost about a fiver to CAA.

The Travelodge is 1 or 2 roundabouts away, and if you book far enough in advance (check out the savers) you can get a room for as little as £9.99. Did it myself.
