A good friend is a captain and line instructor there.., ANA invested in SKY so the company seems to be trucking along but many things have changed...., the money has gone down dramatically because the days of buying your days off at $1,000 are long gone......., things have gone on the cheap, hotels etc.:ugh:
Anyways, this is second hand info since I don't work there.

Maybe so Wiz - but the Chapter 11 provisions to provide some operational protection over time whilst things are -maybe - sorted would be far closer to the US than anything in Oz.
As for the government stumping up $$ - one of thoses quaint little socialist/capitalist combo's that makes Japan what it is.
