Two thoughts immediately..

1. Where besides Jeddah are they going to fly it (oh that's right they going to use it like a great big 737?), oh yes I recall, China. Still on the bad boy list most everywhere else.

2. Which runway will they run it off of first?

With 440 seats it will make for a most comfortable ride.

Several daily services to Ngurah Rai...Do they prefer ditching RW27 as I remember? That all shows a corruption in Indo DGCA, so many cases to revoke their AOC forever, but....

This is all a bit silly as the A330s are replacing existing B744 wide bodies and Cebu Pacific operate a similar config.

They will also operate them on the busy main trunk routes as Batavia did in the past and Garuda currently do.

The first incident/accident will be interesting.

448 pax.. no mid galley only aft and back galley. asian seats. routes initial.. Bali, medan, makassar, surabaya. then after they get the feel for the plane.. off we goto Jeddah..

Now looking for a330 TRI for 6wks on 2 off at a selling price 12000USD..per month. GOOD LUCK..

So pay for the generous 12000usd, they offering B737 upgrade program, but you need to deposit 18000usd for line training for the 5 long years contract. salary of 6000usd for first 2years then 3rd onwards 7500usd for 90hrs flight time.. 4/5/6 days on.. 1 day off.. 10wks on 2wks off..
hopefully prevents you from catching the midnight flight out of JKT.:E
