As the title suggests, I was curious why a C-441 would be flying west, parallel with Reid Hwy this morning at about 300 agl? Anyone else see it or offer insights?

Saw the same aircraft over the top of the Nedlands Golf Course at what looked like 200-300 feet heading North. Both engines running.

Heard it before I saw it so I knew it was going to be low :)

Cheers, I guess that makes me lazy with a capital L, can't bring myself to look at a NOTAM on a day off!

Got to ask what low altitude flight has to do with validation of procedures?

I believe they do terrain validation - make sure no new hills have grown :}

They are checking for obstacles in the approach splays. They do have a habit of suddenly appearing. :)

We've found a new radio mast - can you send someone with a ladder to get us down...

I was driving East up Greenmount Hill yesterday morning about 0930 hrs when the Conquest appeared from behind me, to my left, heading NE at a height that absolutely astonished me.
Couldn't have been any more than 250' above the face of the Darling scarp. I'm amazed the police weren't overwhelmed with calls about a twin-engine aircraft going down!
