Blue 1 is an airline based in Finland and 100% owned by SAS.
At the moment they seem to operate a small number of 717s which are due to be sold in early November 2015. There was a plan to move some 737s from SAS to Blue1 as hand-me-downs but this plan seems to have been cancelled.
There are pages on the web talking about SAS not being sure what to do with Blue1, but when an airline goes down to zero aircraft, that suggests the airline is no longer operational.
Is anyone knowledgeable able to say what the fuure is for Blue1 beyond early November 2015 ? Are the staff all being folded into mainstream SAS or is something less pleasant happening ?
