Hello to our Latin American Colleagues. My company is looking to Operate a special charter with a B737-800/BBJ2 to both SEQM and SLLP and would appreciate if anyone operates there, would they be willing to share any of the special briefing material you use prior to operating there.

Many Thanks

Well, were not latin but fly in there a lot.74 and md11.
High elevation ap,so high goundspeeds. Keep your airspeeds low since you will be flying between very steep terrain.
Quickly changing weather.
Lot of varing winds and windshear, the gorge on short final 36 triggers multiple temporary, alerts in our bird(due to steeply varying RA height). No biggie, just be aware.
Approach ILS 36 is straight forward.
ATC fairly reliable(vectors) but when things go beyond usual they get a brain block
,yr on yr own than.(kinda standard in S America)
We are not authorized to fly may SID's due to climb performance restrictions.
And not to forget volcanos, 2 are now active, Cotopaxi is very active now,
just south of ap, is ready to errupt, massive evacuation. Ash cloud moving west.
Enjoy your stay, its a beautiful country/city.Just don't forget your oxy-mask going to the bar
