Performance 'A'

Can anyone explain what BA's term 'Performance A' means :confused: ??

Also, I don't know about OBA in Florida, but I found their response to my initial enqiuries very helpfull indeed. Also the packages they provide seemed to be right up my street.

Any Thoughts ??

As far as I know it was another exam a bit like ATPL's but it was a CAA thing and has now been phased out,

To give you a bit more of an idea, once you have a licence i.e. CPL/Frozen ATPL you then also need a Performance rating appropriate to the aircraft you are going to fly. For most commercial turboprops and jets this would mean, (under the old CAA regs) Performance A. For smaller aircraft such as piston twins etc. there were other categories such as Perf. E and so on. This is all now superseded by JAA Performance exams which enable you to do the same thing. Hope this helps...
