I've been thinking about this for a bit: if, according to our management it is perfectly ok to operate the pilots right up to their limits, week after week, month after month, then surely the same must apply to the aircraft limits? Initial Flap at 260kts on the 777ER, Gear down at 270kts. As we are much more fragile than a piece of machinery, obviously it's no problem to run the machinery at their limit, just like us. :ok:

Management should begin working to their limits as well. I think it would be a good idea for them to begin alternating day and night for their working days:

-Monday and Tuesday shall be midnight to 1015 the following days, but of course they can use discretion should they wish to "help out" and work until 1215.

-Wednesday will be 0900 to 1245 and thence 1730 to 2130.

-Thursday will start at 0800, maybe. Then again, due management disruption, it may start at 1000.

-Friday they shall be on call from 0600 to 1400, but they will be called right at 0600 and changed to start managing at 1900 until Saturday morning at 0630. Yes, you see Saturday is an "organization" day and they will be required due shortage of managers.

Should be easy enough for them as they just 'push paper around' in the same way that we simply 'press buttons' and drink a lot!
Simple really.
